SO if your like me you own all the extended editions of the films but most likely do not own the original theaterical versions. And I'm sure there is a rainy day or two that you've woundering what they were like cause most likely the theater was the only time you saw them like that.
Well on August 29th you can find out cause you can buy both in one set with a documentary and stuff. Sounds coo. I kinda want one to be honest

Stephen Chow's new movie title annouced

If you don't know who Stephen Chow is go rent SHAOLIN SOCCER and KUNG FU HUSTLE. Then you'll know and care alot. His next film will be a sci-fi film and very effects heavy or well he said his most effects heavy film.

Anyway it's title is LONG RIVER 7 - which refers to a satelite.

also there is an alien and a dinosaur. I don't know anything else but it sounds fun as all hell.

Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin are creepy

I watched the squid and the whale tonite and it stars both Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin. Anna Paquin and Jeff mess around and kinda have this thing going on. A little creepy and not enought to warent a post but there's more. If you've seen the movie your like what is it.
Well guess what other movie they stared in together Fly Away Home. Where he played her FATHER and he played her DAUGHTER. yeah ewwwwww. ewwww ewwwww.

Bush- total dummy, now that that’s out of the way time to bitch and moan, hooray!!!

I was at a sleven and I saw one of those new suv’s, they are the size of a normal car. But they pollute just like a real suv!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is completely redunkulous. I was at the sleven and this dude was not only driving one, but he had left it on while he went in. The window was down, and I had the urge to release the parking break but I wimped out. I also hear people with suv’s say “its got great mileage for an suv, the lowest in its class” so is that like a murderer having the lowest kill ratio in his cell block? Next person who says that’s gona get kicked in the balls.

While I’m on the subject. The hummer, no not a blowjob, but the air polluting road hogging douche machine. If you live in the city/suburbs/ or even the fucking moon!!! There is no need to drive one. I was at the doctors soon after surgery and I found driver side door to be blocked by a hummer taking up 2 spaces and part of mine. So I did the right thing and squeezed in and made sure my belt scratched the shit out of it, and yall say having a belt made of choker chains makes no sense? Inclosing FUCK YOUR HUMMER, AND FUCK YOU!!!

There were Snakes really in the theater

All though nobody has yet to actually release snakes on a plane. Which all though would be funny I don't want to have anyone I care about it that plane.

Anyway Someone in Phoenix released a snake in a theater showing snakes on a plane and another one in the parking lot. A spokeswoman for Amc theaters said no one was harmed.

Guess who shocked retailers yesterday in record stores

Danity Kane is who I'm talking about. Were I work they out sold Outkast. Which also was released that day. This is shocking as all hell.

Who is Danity Kane exactly well you know making the band 3. yeah that's them. What the fuck. Looks like Bad Boy is having a second renissance with this and Cassie. But really like what the fuck. I guess though Outkast doesn't have big opening week numbers they like to build an album so that explains it but What the fuck. Trey Parker and Matt Stone making two new live action movies

Trey Parker and Matt Stone who created south park and orgasmo and cannibal the musical. Have signed a deal with Paramount pictures to makes two live action films.

the first called My All-American is a high school comedy and is written by Jeff Roda.

After that they plan to follow it up with Giant Monsters Attack Japan! which will be live action and yes man in suit or rubber suit kinda stuff. It's written by J.F. Lawton who wrote under seige and will be co produced by nickelodeon. Which makes me wary but maybe it will turn out really good. It sounds fun as all hell

Each film will have Parker direct and Stone produce. And they will do this in 2007 during a hitaus from south park.

I do like this but I'm worried cause the first one isn't written by them. Can they make something like that funny but it's probably a good challenge. Then nickelodeon is involved with the other one so I'm assuming it won't be rated R. I hope there both really good.
I do know south park ends soon so maybe this is a way to have something when they end that show.

New THUNDERCATS show HOOOO

Aint it cool news posted this about a possiable Thundercats show there developing at warner brothers

WB animation is remaking the Thundercats as an animated TV series.
The animation style is whimsical, Americanized-anime, along the lines of Teen Titans.
The setting is modern-day Earth, in a major city (possibly LA)
The Thundercats are all teenagers.
Their leader is Snarf (!) who is now a mystic with a "third" eye.
Each of the Thundercats has a weapon with an "Eye of Thunderra" and transformative powers (not just Lion-O)
When they aren't fighting evil, the Thundercats play together as a rock band. That's not a typo, or a joke. They are rockin' cats in their present form.
Mum-Ra now has wings.
And I bet he laughs a bit more than he used to =P

REVIEW: OUTKAST - IDLEWILD (the music not the movie)

I usually don't do album reviews before they came out but I got a way to listen to this album early and feel like I should post it to tell you about it.

I'd like to start off by answering the biggest question does it follow up the last album yes but also no . I think this album follows up Stankonia better then the love below/speakerboxxx because this is far more of a consistant album then that.I don't think it has singles that are as good but it defently works better as a whole. I don't think it's better then Stankonia ether but really that album was an amazing classic so don't think that just think about this. It's a good album In fact a great one. It's one that you should hear and it is without a doubt one of the best albums of the year.

The album starts off with a skit called well intro cause it's an intro. Anyway I have to say I've always liked Outkast's skits. on most rap albums there not very good and not to the point. But they always have funny and well written skits that sometimes I'll find myself just listening to them. Ther also really well timed too. So seriously hats off cause that is awesome.
The music is odd as hell big shock yeah I know. But in that wounderful outkast way. I think this album is probably the happest outkast album. All though they usually have both happy and sad songs this feels more happy.
Andree 3000 also does rap which is really nice cause I missed him as an mc and it's good to hear him rap again and if your woundering yes he is still good.
The other big thing about this Outkast album is it's fun it sounds like they had fun making it and that's good. I don't know why people say there gonna break up if I had as much fun making an album as it sounds like they do I would never leave the group.
Outkast as a group really shows on this by having Andree be all werid and Big Boi bring it back to somewhat normal. This album is the combination of the two you except from Outkast and this is an Outkast album not a andree big boi split
and it works as an outkast album.
SOme of the best tracks Morris Brown. which you've all ready heard is wounderfully catchy as hell and uses horns mostly which I really like alot. and the chorus is fun too. Hollywood divorce with guest Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg which seems like an odd duo to put on an outkast album but they fit in very well espically snoop dogg who raps with a clarity that will make even the best rapper weep. N2U has the best and funniest chrous and I hope is released as a single cause I would love to hear people play through there car steros and sing on the street.
Bottom line I'm gonna be honest I don't like this as much as Stankonia and it's not the best and people most likely will come down on them but here's what i think. It's fucking great ok. How many great albums do we get a year not many. So seriously it is worht listening to and owning and you will be able to listen to a million times.
I would also like to point out that there albums usually grow on me and I might actually write a rereview later.
But yeah it's good.

Indiana Jones 4 is happening

Empire Online talked to George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford about the film and here's some quotes

"We're basically going to do 'The Phantom Menace,'" says Lucas (stay with him here, he's making a point). "People's expectations are way higher than you can deliver. You could just get killed for the whole thing…We would do it for fun and just take the hit with the critics and the fans...But nobody wants to get into it unless they are really happy with it."

As for timing, Lucas says that filming is scheduled for mid-2007, for a 2008 release but getting the gang back together is a tricky proposition. "Before I was just working with Steven and Harrison. Now everybody's a superstar, so it's a little bit more difficult than it was then. But there's a good chance it will happen," assures Ford. "There are things left for this character to do."

I get that people expections are high but do we need a forth one. Not really you know I'm fine with just 3 and seriously the best one is raiders. It's not like fucking star wars and I don't want to go through that emotional horriable thing of seeing a great franchise turn into dog poop.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Doug Jones today at our local comic book store here in Bowling Green, KY. Doug was there promoting a movie he is shooting here called “Knock, Knock”. Let me say that Mr. Jones has to be one of the absolute nicest human beings I have ever met. He was very courteous and seemed to go out of the way to speak with you. I asked Doug if it was true that he would be playing the Silver Surfer. He told me that the contracts were being signed at this moment and that he was going to begin shooting in Canada here in the next couple of weeks. Hope this is useful.

Thank god Ocean 14 not happening

I'm really glad because the Ocean's 11 isn't really that good you know. I like Sodenberg but I think these films are kinda average I'd much rather watch one of his artisie films or personal films but anyway here's what Sodenberg said at the Edinburgh International Film Festival

I guess the internet campaign did well but will not bring virual marketing to more big budget films. Which is sad I was kinda hoping for it but it did make a shitload more cause of it then it would have. Most likely it would have entered at like9.
Also if they did urban marketing the film could have made at least 3 million or more. But relyed to much on the internet that mainly brought out a white male audience.
Also the actuals on monday may turn out differently. which can happen sometimes but rarely does now.

Ricky Bobby was number one for the 3rd week bringing it's total to 115 million. I'm still suprised people are seeing this but there is really nothing out right now and also nascar is really big in most of the country. Also I thought Will Ferrell's career was kinda lagging but I guess the right movie can turn you around.


World Trade Center conitues to do well in it's second week with 10 mil but did still go down -42.3% compared to last weekends 18 mil but really it is doing really well. And I think better then expected. Older audiences tend to go see movies in the first couple of weeks rather then the first week like other demos. This film will end up doing well for that and lack of competition

Accepted did ok i guess whateva

Step Up was last weekend's big story about how awesome the marketing and it had good word of mouth. Well the word of mouth apprently wasn't that good cause it went down -52.2%. This doesn't look good for the teen film but I'm assuming most of it's audience went it's first week and it will continues to fall pretty quick for the rest of it's run.

Material Girl did 4 mill. Ouch Hillary Duff isn't the star I think that everyone thought she was . I think Disney is feeling good about this one. Most likely she needs to do a non Hillary Duff kinda movie to keep her audience.

Little Miss Sunshine went in to 600 more theaters and went up +118.0% and made $5.67M to a total of 12.7M. The film is doing really well and will open in more theaters soon. I'm still happy how well this film is doing.

Werid box office news Nacho Libre went up +408.8% and made was in +281 more theaters. I'm assuming this has to do with Jack Black getting to host the mtv awards. I guess that's why I don't know the sudden intrest. this is really werid but whateva.

DON'T SEE Myra Breckinridge

I know your like why are you ralling against this movie. Well cause it's not good and makes like no sense at all. But most importantly fox the studio that owns the film seems to want to get alot of people into and make it and even bigger cult movie. I wanna save you the trouble of seeing such an awful film that makes no sense. Seriously it doesn't and the editing is stupid as hell. Like this is worse the ed wood bad it's just awful.
I know fox is pushing this film with lots of dvds and showing the film on tv at midnight to get the cult crowd but this movie isn't good. I mean mommie dearest is a great cult movie but this eww.
And the plot ok so you have rex reed as the main character and he gets a sex change and turns into myra breckinridge who is played by Raquel Welch. How the fuck does that work. Then it just gets odd. Really Make if your messed up but really this is bland and boring no matter how nice a dvd they put out just don't watch it please go watch i don't know something else.

SNAKES ON A PLANE NUMBER 1 shock of all shocks

with snakes on a plane number 1 with 6 million it will most likely end up in the 20 million range. This is very good and basically shows that internet marketing works. In fact marketing wise this film is as important as the original jaws. Which was the first film to use tv ads. Depending on how well the film does.
But really can a major blockbuster really use the internet to it's advantage in marketing the way snakes does. Well no but the internet is a big place and films can find there own areas to market in. Like John Tucker did on myspace and x-men and superman.
They can't make the same bloggers go crazy for kinda things though and I think odder movies can. Certainly Black Snake Moan is allready doing that. Fuck I did it and everyone who saw snakes is talking about the trailer. I think the big winner isn't all films if snakes does well but odd ones cause they can find an audience faster and cheaper on the internet and also with more intrest then big movies. So really this is a victory for them

Superman sequal is most likely gonna happen

SO before when it was Singer I doubted it and rightfully so cause he doesn't actually pay for the 100 million dollar films he makes the studio does. Well that studio wants a sequal or at least Alan Horn the president of warners wants to. He said so when he talked to the l.a. times. Here's the quotes baby.

Horn expects "Superman Returns" to eventually gross about $400 million worldwide, more than last year's hit "Batman Begins." Nonetheless, "Superman" fell at least $100 million short of his expectations.

"I thought it was a very successful movie, but I think it should have done $500 million worldwide," Horn said. "We should have had perhaps a little more action to satisfy the young male crowd."

Still, he's betting Warner has firmly reestablished the "Superman" franchise and is planning another installment for summer 2009.

This may either hurt the sequal or help it. We could have a really awesome action packed superman or we could have a dumb as shit action packed superman I think singer can make the first one but we'll see what happens. I'm sure Warners just wants it to do well. But honestly it needed better marketing it wasn't so much the films fault they just should have pushed it hard to the people.

POSTERS FOR BLACK SNAKE MOAN

I think these posters look coo as all hell and might be the best posters of the year next to v for vendetta. Harry Knowles says he seen it and it might be the best movie of the year. Usually when Harry freaks out about a film it's usually worth checking out. Even if you don't think it's the best it'll probably be good. I am very excited also Justin Timberlake is in it. It's also done by the director of Hustle and FLow who I have high hopes for in the future

NEW MOVIES DAY

The big film this weekend is actually believe it or not Snakes on a Plane. Which may hit number one depending on how well Step up and Talladega nights do. But I think Snakes on a Plane will make close to 30 million and I think might make 40 if it's lucky enough. It's in the second largest amount of theaters it could come and suprise everyone.
But the big thing with this film is will internet marketing work. If it does well except to see alot more films marketed this way but if not maybe they won't.


Accepeted is the only really competition to Snakes on a plane. But I think more people wanna see snakes Accepted will end at like 15 I think but will perform well after this.

Material Girls doesn't have many theaters and Hillary duff doesn't have a really good box office track record anymore. But they have put out alot of ads and really been pushing this film in fact this might have the most tv ads I think it could end up with 8.


The Illusionist won't do very good at all cause who wants to see that.


Little Miss Sunshine will do even better then before except it too do really really well.

BLACK SNAKE MOAN

Last nite before snakes on a plane they played the trailer for Black Snake Moan. Which stars Samuel L Jackson and Christina Ricci and is directed by Craig Brewer who directed Hustle and Flow. Now I really liked Hustle and Flow so I do wanna see this for the director. But the film is about Samuel L Jackson character finding a woman who is wild and he chains her up in his house til she behaves. I'm not sure what the hell this movie is going to be like but it's really odd and kind of masaganinst. But I am curious enough to see it

REVIEW: SNAKES ON A PLANE

When this internet fad started it was hillarious and everyone allready knew the catch phrase There are motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane. Everyone talked about funny sequal ideas and everyone talked about seeing it. Now that it's hear does it live up to the hype? Well yeah it does but just enough. Not enough to become a really funny bad movie but enough to statisfy real die hard fans.
But for the rest of us this is just something that sounded alot better as a joke then a movie. Samuel L. Jackson does say the line but the rest of the jokes are lame and not that great.
But what is worth it are the snake attacks. When the snakes get introduced that is so fucking awesome. All your snake bitting people in a plane dreams are realised here. They start by attacking a couple fucking in the bathroom and smoking pot and then come in and attack them classic really. Then they attack everyone on the plane and all sorts of snakes. You have snakes all over the fucking place doing what you want them to.
There is also a huge fucking pthyon that is coo too. But everything else is lame. I mean the action is coo and the snakes are coo but all the bad movie stuff doesn't work that well. It kinda works but it's not anything to go home about. The action is totally in such a way that you could see your self renting this and watching it with your buddies at sleepover when you were like 13. If you walk in wanting to see that and drink alot of soda and eat alot of bad food then this movie is for you. But not in the theaters on dvd. That's when to see the movie with a bunch of friends drinking tons of soda and talking about other things over the movie. then it's perfect and can take it's seat next to evil dead. Evil Dead is better and all but this would be a fun party movie.
So if your doing that go rent it cause it really would be perfect.

yes I am serious according to cmj.com the website will have every music video ever created in six to 18 months. kind of a large window there but it is a big thing to accomplish.

According to Reuters, YouTube has been in talks with Warner Music Group and EMI about obtaining their catalog of videos.

all though only Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberland have said there back. There going to work with producer Roy Thomas Baker who produced Queen's night at the opera which includes a little song called Bohemian Rhapsody. he also produced Cars, Journey and Cheap Trick.
Does it matter that only two people are there actually not really cause Billy Corgan wrote most of the songs and even did alot of the instruments on several albums so it might be fine but be weary cause the last couple pumpkins albums were so so

Christopher Walken has signed on to be in Hairspray the movie of the musical of the movie. He joins a cast that includes John Travolta, Queen Latifah, Amanda Bynes, Michelle Pfeiffer, James Marsden, Zac Efron and some new girl as tracey turnblat.

The director is the director of cheaper by the dozen 2 and the pacifier. UMMMMMMM yeah well this looks good. But Christopher Walken is intresting so maybe it won't be that bad.

yeah that's the title of the fantastic four sequal. It's not the best sounding title but it does sound like an comic issue title. Apprently this is the plot

SO I guess Galactus isn't in it but they have to at least mention him so maybe he is I don't know obviously they are not doing the original story where silver surfer and galactus first appeared. Even though that's a really good story for some reason this one is better.
Well maybe they will do a good job on this but then again i do remember the original film

Bruno Kirby is dead

ok i could have been nicer about that but anyway Bruno Kirby died Monday of complications related to leukemia. This is really sad. I'm not sure if anyone at first knows who he is and really he wasn't the biggest star in the world but he did have stuff you would remember. First off he was in Godfather Part 2 as Young Clemenza. But the one I think most kids who grew up in the 90's remember him for was City Slickers. Yeah he was Billy Crystals friend in City Slickers and he was smart enought not to come back for City Slickers 2. Real smart in fact Crystal should have done that too. Anyway He was also Crystals friend in When Harry met Sally. He has a pretty good career and his last job was on an episode of this season of Entourage where he played a film producer that is producing the pablo escabar movie and also produced the shrek films. It was a ok episode and the whole time I was woundering were I knew him from. I don't know he was an amazing actor but he was really loveable with his moustache and everything. I really wish he had gotten more work cause he seems like a really nice guy.
Also if you look through his filmography most of the stuff he worked on was by several of the same directors or the production companies they own. For example he was in Barry Levinson's Tin men then Good Morning Vietnam. and then an episode of Homicide. That goes to show you he was a coo guy and it's sad that he's gone

New Dettones album details

the album is still called Saturday Night Wrist and will feature two guests System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian on "Mein" and Giant Drag's front woman Annie Hardy on the electronica-tinged "Pink Cellphone." The serj thing is like ok figures but Annie Hardy sounds werid. I really wanna hear that song.

Apprently they got in a lot of fights while making this album and stuff I just want it to be good. They said it's a very complete record and I hope so. It's been 3 years since there last record.

Interpol has left matador records and signed with Capitol. they are supposed to start work on a new album soon and all though now title has been annouced it is excepted in mid 2007.

You make think why the fuck are they leaving matador. Well Capitol can do things that Matador can't like have a huge first week and really push the record. Capitol has the money to do something like that and Matador doesn't. It might sound like they've changed or something but this will honestly help them be able to push there band as far as they can.

I don't think anyone wants that many batman villians. That was the problem with the last bunch of batman films. Also Joker should get his own movie. He's like the biggest Batman villian. There's nobody who even comes close. But yeah remember batman forever and batman and robin. I really hope this is a rumor and I havn't heard much about these other villians so it may be just that.

Also there were rumors for a while that Ryan Phillipe turned down the role of Anakin Skywalker cause he doesn't like to do big movies like that. I'd be suprised if he did two face after something like that.

I really want this dvd cause I know this show has one more season. The cw moved it to 7pm on Sundays ouch ouch. Also the show got no emmy nominations despite a really good campaign to try and get some including sending all the emmy voters season one on dvd before it finished airing on tv.
I think this show is a really good show and most people havn't watched it but I havn't not liked a single episode. It really is a modern wonder years just more funny and alot more funny. If a good network had this show they would push it like crazy.
I wish the rumors it was moving to cbs had been true it's a shame this show is gonna end soon.

The Today show fucked up bad

so I don't really do the celeb gossip thing here but this is intresting.

A week ago the today show started there show by going with the story that Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughon were engaged. They got this story from the most trustworthy news source us weekly. Now your probably ok so.

well here's where it gets intresting. ok so the guy manages both Aniston and Vaughon and alot of other people that you have defently heard of said that none of his clients will be on the Today show anymore. So they will go to Good morning america. which is The Today show rival.

How does this impact you well something like this will scare news people from doing celebrity gossip because they don't want to risk them not going on there show.

But also the today show is in a transitional stage with Katie Couric gone and Meredith vera not there yet. this could really hurt the show. But this is typical nbc when they go down they go down hard. Remember when they lost friends and no one watched there prime time anymore. Well I guess the same will happen to the daytime too. ok ok maybe not completely but this will hurt them over time.

Ace Ventura 3 or Dumb and Dumberer 2

apprently New line wants a new Ace Ventura film so bad there willing to make it without Jim Carrey. Wow great move there guys I hope there smart and just have it straight to dvd.

Flakes- quit being so damn flaky

Remade movies- they were fine the first time, your not making them better. There was a time when actors could actually act. Now movie companies take good movies and cut out the talent and remake them with the slut/brain dead moron of the week. Yes I said slut. Cause if you look at it the more sluty (this goes for dudes as well) or drunken anorexic or fucked up on coke/heroin someone is the more of a role model for kids they are. Being a rich party douche does not make you a good actor. Every time they remake a good movie and ruin the plot some one should have a showing of the original. Tomorrows big dvd's

tomorrow or well Tuesday has alot of coo dvds coming out and I figured I'd tell you about them


I always thought APOCALYPSE NOW didn't have the best dvds out there. Like a movie like that needs a good dvd that you can be like oh shit thats a good dvd. I think the godfather had it but this film always had shittie ones until they released this. It's called APOCALYPSE NOW: THE COMPLETE DOSSIER. It has both the redux and the original versions. but heres the thing that is coo. There are two discs right. On one disc has the first part of both the original and the redux and the second disc has the second part of both films. So you could like mix and match if you wanted and both version have commentary. fuck yeah. this is the shit you've been waiting for



These are dvds I would like love to have but if they were marked down alot I certainly would. There dumb and all but there is some nostalga to it. Also I havn't seen these cartoons in like 15 years so it would be coo to see what they're like now

this is put out by shout factory who did the amazing freaks and geeks dvds. I havn't watched this show since it aired 10 years ago. Apprently it's not that great but if you like pee-wee then this should be right up your alley.


this is the last dvd I'm writing about. This has the John Waters episode which I really enjoy and I think the one with Johnny Cash in it. The Simpsons was a great show and this is when it was still good. I would defently recommend this set.

Also I releise I'm kinda ripping off Moriarty from Aint it cool news but well maybe not cause I'm just writing about dvds I think people would like to know about. that is were I get the pictures but it ultimatly helps you get the stuff you want.

Yeah ABC should actually watch themselves cause this could help Grey's Anatomy. in the long run. if your woundering why this is a big deal there has always been a gentelmens argeement that the other networks will show reruns during the emmys because the emmys are helping promote other networks. But abc broke that agreement.

Get Smart movie starts in March

apprently Steve Carrell is putting this ahead of all his other current film projects and is exicted. I'm not sure if this can work espically with the guy who directed the longest yard I'm not so sure. here' what Steve Carrell said

"That's going to start in March. They're hiring production designers, and they're scouting locations. The main thrust of their thing right now is to try to figure out who will play 99. There's the Chief and 99 -- and there are a couple other [key] parts -- but those are the two main characters they want to cast right now"

It's supposed to be released in the summer of 2008. Steve Carrell says he will make the character a tribute to the original. That sounds dumb and makes me think this will suck and I'm not so sure ok fuck that this will blow

Next Aronofsky film, version of Black Flies

Black Files is a book about a man who becomes an emergency medical technician in Harlem as a temporary stop before he enters medical school. While there, he experiences a range of crises and stressful misadventures while under the eye of a mentor who has been numbed to the point that he makes a wrong decision in a life-or-death situation.

Todd Kessler has been hired to write the script by paramount pictures. He's a producer for the sopranos.

Darren Aronofskyis directing it and no suprise he is a new york city native and I think this might be a good film for him but who knows when it will come out. How long ago was Requim and the fountain isn't out yet but let's blame brad pitt for that maybe hopeflly this will be out in the next 4 years

X-men 4 news

Even though X-Men 3 sucked I'm not giving up on the x-men franchise cause X-Men is well X-men and I'll always love it. Maybe they;ll bring singer back or somebody pretty coo instead of Bret Ratner.
anyway "X-Men" executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner (yes Richard Donner's wife) talked to the la daily news about the new film and the magneto and wolverine films.
here's what she said

"The newer cast members are signed, and the older cast members are not." Considering the older names involved -- Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen and Anna Paquin -- that could run into a huge chunk of money.

"Next, we're going to do 'Wolverine,' but not before the end of the year because he's in the Baz Luhrmann film," she says of the filmmaker's untitled Australian epic with Nicole Kidman. However, "We have the script and are working on it."

"We also have 'Young Magneto' in development."

it says nothing about the plot but we now know it's in development. For a bit there was a rumor that X-men 3 was going to be the last one but that isn't true. Thank god hopefully they can bring this franchise back some how. On the plus side no director has been announced yet so things may be looking up.

REVIEW: CASSIE - Me & U

When I first heard this long I really liked beat. And it's really good very very simple. In fact very little going on all there is just this simple beat. It almost sounds like a 80's r n b song which I guess is what's in right now like I could totally hear lisa lisa doing this song 20 years ago. Plus it's cathcy as all hell. I'll find myself with the chrous stuck in my head alot.
Then there's the lyrics this song has to be the dirtiest song since the strokes last nite. You may go that song. yeah the song about some werid sex thing that happened the nite before but you never know what that thing was. Well this is way worse and what makes it even dirtieer is that she says no curse words and nothing like overtly sexual but here is what she does say

I'm kinda suprised Talladega nights did so well for a second weekend but I guess good word of mouth. Also we should probably take it to account two factors one anchorman did really well on dvd so alot of people who loved that are going to see this. Two Nascar is fucking huge in a magority of the country and this movie is taking advantage of it. so that explains it

Step up certainly did what it's title suggested. orignally I thought 12 well I was way off. then yesterday I said 24 well maybe that was to much. Buy it came out of nowhere to be second. It's marketing was great and it was an amazing word of mouth right now. Except a huge weekend next weekend it's defently possiable. This proves that Disney knows how to do it cause they released this. people say disney is bad but they know how to market a film. In fact there is nobody like them. This movie proves it.

World trade center did well but I doubt will make back it's 65 million budget and the marketing cost. The times we are in right now are fun all the songs on the radio fun and the most talked about films are fun or cliched. But this movie is cliched a little so it might do ok but I doubt it will live up to it's hype.

Pulse did way worse then the Weinsteins said it would. But it did what I said on Friday. Ignore what i said saturday. The marketing could have been better and if the weinsteins did what they did with Scary movie 4. This movie floped here but horror movies but way better overseas so this will make it's money back.

but not as bad as Zoom sucks to be you Zoom. Disney did not do so well cause of this. Odd that a year ago the same studio released a movie that was similair. They could have made Sky high 2 but this may have sounded better on paper actually it was a dumb idea. this is without a doubt a flop. this floped so bad it's a punchline.

Also little miss sunshine is having a great fun and was up by +75.7% and went up in per screen averages as well +95%. Holy fuck is this movie doing well I can't wait til it opens in 600 more theaters next weekend. This movie is really worth all this and thank god it's doing well.

Friday estimates and Step up is doing real well

Believe it or not Step up was number one yesterday with 8,515,000. It beat everybody. I'm guessing the marketing campiagn did work and very very well. I'm kinda suprised I did think it would do well but not this well. I guess we'll see if it keeps it up saturday cause if it does it will make around 24 over all. Which is like fucking crazy

TALLADEGA NIGHTS continues to do well at number two and made only one million less then step up. This will end with maybe 21

World trade center was 3 not shocking cause it doesn't look that intresting and I doubt it will do well next weekend. it did make $5,935,000 nothing great but good

Pulse did 3,395,000 which would have it end with like 12 million not great but about expectations

then there was zoom it enter at 7 with 1.5. Ouch maybe cause Disney shouldn't put out two movies that are actually alike a year after one another.

REVISTING: DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 - You're A Woman, I'm A Machine

Recently and oddly enough right before they broke up I started listening to this album and really getting in to it. I never did before but I really really like it. In fact I think it's very sad this is it from them. But I guess maybe they thought there next album would suck and this was the best that they could give us. If that is true I understand cause there are so many bands that have good first albums and then suck balls on the next one. Or maybe they didn't want to do it that long.
Regardless this is a really good album. I think the best thing I can say about this album is this. It's not easy to make a rock album that sounds so simple. It sounds like easy progession and catchie chords but really that is very complicated. Youre thinking no it's not but how many have fucked it up. The albums works so well and everything is just right on the album.
I really like every song on the album. I actually think this could have been a start to a long career for them if they chouse to do it but they didn't. But hey you know the strokes first album was good and look what happened. yeah you'd like them alot more if they hadn't done that too.

Why is everybody coming out with a new album?

I've heard alot of people wonder why there are so many new albums coming out by big people this month alone. it's Christina then Jessica Simpson, then Beyonce, then Outkast. After that it's Justin Timberlake, the killers,puff daddy, bloc party, tv on the radio, and my checmical romance near halloween cause there spooky. I know theres more and it will be so there is no reason not to buy an album. This is probably really good for the music industry cause they usually don't have this many big artists but it does suck that next year all these big people all ready put out albums.
Your might wonder is there some reason they are all putting out albums. Frankly I doubt I think it just kinda happened.
But here's the good thing. In the fall of 1991 a ton of big artists put out albums Michael Jackson, Guns and Roses, Hammer, U2, and Metallica. But the weekend after christmas one band came out or nowhere and had the number one slot. They were Nirvana. I'm not saying a band as good as Nirvana will come out and do that. But usually that's what happens. So I am exicited to see that happen and I wonder who it will be. But I really do expect it to happen.

Degrassi season 6 start date

It starts Sept. 29 which is actually the same nite south of nowhere starts it's new season as well.
Also the-n is airing degrassi before cananda's ctv which I believe is the first time this has ever been done. But it does mean we can't download them any sooner which kinds sucks but now we can watch them on the-n instead of our computers

Oddly enough even though this is supposed to be a huge hit but there has been like no tv ads. I hope they start cause this movie will be big if they market it right

New Movies Day

This weekend is odd cause it will actually probably be a big weekend and it's august which never happens but this year looks to be different. anyway

I think Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby will be number one again with alot. Not sure how much but probably like20 or something

World Trade Center I think will come in at number 2 and could make come in at number 1. Honestly I'm not sure but anyway were from 18 to 30. It has all ready made over 4 million but still is playing second fiddle to Ricky Bobby. Also it's kind of a diffcult subject matter so I'm not sure how it will do.

Zoom well there's only one thing I can say about Zoom yeah I saw it last summer and it was called Sky High. I'm sure I'm not the first to think it. Sky High was fun but this looks dumb. Alot of people think this will do well but I think it will bomb at like in 6th or 9th place

Step Up has a great marketing campaign and has really made it so teenagers will have to see it. This could end up in th top five and maybe even do 20 but most likely like 12

Pulse was supposed to be a huge hit but that looks unlikely I think Step up will steal all it's thunder from the kids. It will make like 8 million.



Also this is a new thing I'll write down movies in theaters which are worth seeing.

Little Miss Sunshine - Defently the best comedy I've seen this year and people are freaking out about it. It's good cause it's defently a film that is worth it's hype best movie in theaters right now

Nacho Libre - a funny comedy very odd and I know some people hated but I thought it was funny

A Scanner Darkly - I havn't seen it but I heard it was good

A Prairie Home Companion - Not a perfect film but the good parts are good enough to forget about the rest

The Break-Up - you might be shocked but it's way better then it should be. If old School and La Notte had a baby it would be this movie

Superman Returns - All though not a great movie it is good and all the actors work really well like Kevin Spacey and espically Brendon Roth as superman. In fact he may be the best thing about it

The Devil Wears Prada - good comedy the best thing is defently Meryl Streep. Who does an amazing job but all in all it's a good film.

Miami Vice - a slow paced action movie that is exactly like the original show.

Carlton gets divorced

It what has to be the saddest news all day Alfonso Ribeiro has filed for divorce from his wife of 4 years Robin Stapler. They met one the set of in the house which until today I didn't know that he was in. Poor Carlton I will cover this story as it unfolds

Philp K Dick biopic to be directed by Terry Gilliam

I talked about this earlier this week when Paul Giamanti became attached as Philp K Dick

the film is called THE OWL IN DAYLIGHT and apprently will use elements of his writing in the film. Much like Sodenburg did with Kafka (if you can find a copy see it) Apprently PHilp K dick did make him self a character in RADIO FREE ALBEMUTH making this A really oppuriate way to come about a Phillp K Dick biopic.
It will be written by Gilliam and Tony Grisoni. Who is his constant collabrator

All though Terry Gilliam hasn't made a good movie in a while I feel like he might be able to do this. It defentlty sounds intresting. And he's defently the director to apporach it.

The Avengers movie being written

Zak Penn is apprently being paid by Marvel Studios to write a film version of the classic comic. That's all I know.
This is really good news cause Zak Penn he wrote such great dialouge in such films as X-men 3 and The Hulk. I mean the guys a regular Shakespeare or something.
this will probably be like any normal marvel movie. So I guess it will be sub par but maybe it'll get a good director.

oh wait i'm sorry this is the avengers movie. yeah you know that comic you like never read and could never stay good for more then like 5 issues. yeah that comic never mind fuck this movie it's gonna be as bad as fantastic four

MI 3 to be first film released on DVD, Blu-ray Disc & HD DVD all on the same day

This is supposed to be really amazing cause no film has ever done this before and right now I guess it is but in all honesty name someone who owns a HD DVD player. oh what's that you can't. yeah not so coo. Blue-ray dvd is like the mini disc's of there day. yeah remeber mini discs oh you can't yeah that's your future Blu-ray. suck it

The Prisoner movie may happen with Nolan directing

Universal is close to closing a deal with Christopher Nolan to make a feature film version of the classic and amazing show The Prisoner.
My dad loves the Prisoner as Do I. It's such a werid show with the bubble and all the odd characters. I'm not sure how they can pull that off now without it being laughable but I have faith in Christopher Nolan.
It will be written by Janet and David Peoples who wrote Tweleve Monkey's together which was ok but makes them perfect to write a Prisoner film. Also David Peoples co wrote Blade Runner so yeah you know that was really good to.
With Christopher Nolan and Janet and David Peoples doing this I except a decent film version and I hope they pull it off it'd be coo to see everyone into the prisoner again.

Is Step up the movie of our generation?

I ahvn't seen it but that's what the ads say. Every ten years one movie comes along. Man that's a tag line reminds me of old trailers they used to say shit like that all the time.
I do like this movie cause it does take place in baltimore but I doubt it's as good as the ads say it is.
I almost find it laughable that they would do something like this but maybe they'll do better and get a couple million more then everyone thought. It could happen usually ads for stuff like this are important so maybe but i doubt it can do that well with all the competion it's against.
Bottom line good marketing bad tagline that will be laughable to everyone by monday

Paul Simonon of the clash and Danger Mouse are in Damon Albarn's new band

yes that's right Paul Simonon bass player for the clash is working on a new group and Danger Mouse is producing it. As far as right now that's all I know oh yeah and that Blur frontman DAMON ALBARN is in it as well.


Also involved former Verve and Blur guitarist Simon Tong and Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen. Damon Albarn has said he's been working on this for the last two years.


Apprently the album there working on is called The Good, the Bad and the Queen, a concept album that will be out in January about life in London.

Sounds coo as all hell. This will ether be really good or won't work at all I'm hoping it will work. Paul Simonon hasn't done much after the clash and this is a great way to have cultral releavance again.
I also think it's coo Danger Mouse will do werid stuff like this I'm not sure if he likes doing it for just one album or not but they usually work so this will be coo.
I hope this is as amazing as it sounds cause if it is then it will be as good as everything else Danger Mouse has done recently and Damon Albarn man this is gonna be good.

John C. Reilly gets his own APATOW star vechile

Sony Pictures got the comedy pitch "Walk Hard" which Freaks and Geeks Directors Judd Apatow and Jake Kasdan will write and produce as a star vechile for John C. Reilly. The story is about fictional music legend Dewey Cox, whose life becomes as messy as the protagonists in "Ray" and "Walk the Line,"

John C. Reily says this "My character is an amalgamation of a number of classic musician stories, tales of excess, highs and lows and bad behavior"

Apprently Jake Kasdan will direct the film and I'm assuming Appatow will produce.
This is coo cause Apatow is making comedy stars out of everyone he can. First Will Ferrel then Steve Carrell. I guess next will be Seth Rogan and then John C. Reily. I love Appatow and Jake Kasdan did direct some good episodes of freaks and geeks so this will probably be good.
Espically if they keep as much improve as they did in freaks and geeks. This movie will be hillarious

Next BOND movie is looking for a director

I wrote about this perviously here and was intrested cause of the choice of Rodger Mitchell as director well apprently that is no longer happening.

Talks have stopped because of creative differences for the sequal to Casion Royale. With Roger Mitchell not coming aboard. It's ridiculous that there talking about a sequal cause they don't know if Casino Royale is gonna be a hit. I know it's Bond and they expect it to well but we really don't know. So maybe wait but loosing Roger Mitchell sucks I hope they find someone good and not some sub par person they normally get. Seriously name one director who did a bond movie. yeah you can't.

REVIEW: MIAMI VICE is nice

When most tv shows are made into movies they rarely camputer the writing and style of the show and have even harder time trying to get to update it to a modern setting. Well Miami Vice does this suprisingly very well. Granted the director Michael Mann did producer and was the series runner on the original show. But still it's a really good feet. I understand that it looks nothing like the orignal show but the writing and the music is the same as it ever was. The movie could not be like the original show because if it looked like that now it would be silly. I think the look Michael Mann choose was veyr good and did give it the grittier feel that he wanted.
The writing is the way the show was exactly in fact you could put it next to the show and writing wise there is no difference. Also the way they used the music was the same. Espcially the score by Organized Noize which was very similair to the old show. The show always had this like moody electronic music going on in the background.
I also think the casting was very good and I liekd Colin Ferrel and really liked Jamie Foxx. I think I liked his character more the Collin Farrel but I am more of a tubbs person then a crocket person I guess.
The main thing I think my stray people away from the movie is the pacing. Everyone remembers the show as being mtv cops. Well I actually did watch the show maybe a couple of months pervious and the pacing is pretty slow. Espically for an action type cop show. I think that might bother most people. That doesn't mean it's bad. I actually like it, It's a tottally different feel from any action movie made in the past couple of years. Artistically this film is a success and is ricky as shit. But Michael Mann did make a Miami Vice movie and the best one I think he could. I heard a rumor that Will Smith was gonna play tubbs and stuff. He saved it from that completly.
But if your excepting a action movie with tons of fast paced stuff then this movie isn't for you. If you like movies I think you will like this movie. I actually will say this is the best action movie I have seen all summer. I'm mean just action not like sci-fi well maybe but anyway yeah best action movie this summer. Well until snakes on a plane.

REVISITING: BECK ODELAY

I kinda heard this at work and then decided to listen to again. To say I love this album. Oh well fuck it I do love this album infact it may be one of the first albums I really did love. I remembering buying it after christmas with Smashing Pumpkins mellon collie when I was 13. yeah pretty coo two albums to get huh.
I listen to Odelay so many times the last track doesn't play right. I can tell you times I listened to it like when I had a snow day and after a day of sleding with my friends. Which was I think more like 2 hours and we only had one seld so not too much selding. Anyway it was so cold our hair froze and we let it melt while listening to odelay and even waited for the little werid music at the end.
So I guess in otherwards I do have an emotional attachment to this album.
Listening to it now I releaised to two things. One the music is so all over the place and so much of it comes out of nowhere it makes my head spin. At the time I knew it was werid but now I appreicate it more. I can't imagine a 13 year old listening to this. The songs are really well structure but almost feel like there not like there so odd they shouldn't be but are at the same time. Which brings me to my second thing. The drums on this album are fucking tight as all hell. I know they used a drum machine. I'm saying the drums really make alot of the songs the drum beats are amzing and well timed. I'm not talking about John Bonham drumming simple dance to the beat stuff and it's pulled off really well.
I think Beck is a really good artist and I don't know if he ever followed this album up in my mind he didn't all thought I guess alot of people think that Guero did and it was really good but it didn't follow it up. But who's to say he even has to. Alot of bands don't and stay good and I think Beck has done that. and very well to might I add

Disney may sign Zemeckis to multi film deal

Robert Zemeckis the guy who said ugly as shit motion capture was way better the beautiful pixar animation. May sign a deal with Disney and ImageMovers the shitty company that made such crap as polar express and monster house. Apprently he's upset with dreamworks which is shocking cause Zemickis is best friends with Speilberg.
Well this helps Disney but considering Zemeckis did say snotty things about how his motion capture is so great and we won't need animation eventually. This probably pissed pixar people off so I really hope this is a rumor. Cause I don't want Zemeckis's dumb ass to be in the same studio with Pixar

The HORROR KEVIN SMITH THE HORROR

There were some rumors but last nite at netflicks roling roadshow showing of clerks Kevin Smith said he's next project will be a horror film.
He said this "Yes, I am doing a horror movie next. It's entitled 'Jersey Girl 2.' No, I'm kidding, but yes, I am doing a horror movie next."
"No, its going to be straight horror. I feel after 7 comedies its time to take a left turn and do a straight up different movie, in this case horror. Its gonna have all of the horror you'd expect, blood and guts...and tits. No, no, no, not that, I'm talkin about man tits. What? What's so bad about man tits? I have tits! They're sexy! And hairy...but, yeah, I'm doin a horror movie."
"wouldn't be for a year or two. I just got done makin a movie, I'm not rushing into another. Probably two years."

He also said he would be filming it entirely in la and not new jersey.

Even though I panned Clerks 2. I still think he's a good director and I think he could possiably make a good horror film. I'm kinda confused he's doing this. I think a superhero movie would be perfect but maybe he knows something we don't or this is another bad movie. I'll hope for the best

HALO DIRECTOR ANNOUCED

Well we've been waiting a while but it's here the diretor of halo movie at Universal and 20th Century Fox with Peter Jackson executive producing.

and the director is Neill Blomkamp. Now if your like me your going who the fuck is that. Well forently you can find out.
he's made several commericals and two shorts you can find online TempBot on Transbuddha and Alive in Joburg. Tempbot is good I guess and kinda funny but not worthy of him getting Halo. Also Linda Carter is in it. But Alive in Joburg is really good and I understand why he was considered.
I am suprised that they didn't get a name director but I guess I understand. Cause if you get a name director it's Ridely Scott's Halo and not just Halo this will make the marketing just about the film itself. I think he has the possiabilty of making a good movie and Peter Jackson did pick him and you know lord of the rings worked out

So as I said last week Jim was with me in the hospital. We were watching TV and wrestling was on. WWE. It seems the new bad guys are Mexican, they come in riding “Juan” dear tractors talking about how they are gona take our “yobs”. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!! WWE taking racist stereo types to new heights of absurdity. They got a guy who pretends to be mentally handicapped as well. I wonder when their gona have the “money taking Jew” or the “watermelon eating African”? this is completely redUNKulous. I remember when I was young they had the Nikalie something or another. It seams racism/“patriotism” and wrestling go hand in hand.

While I’m on this subject I caught a few episodes of Hogan knows best. Wow he’s a shity father, but that’s not the point I want to make. On the show he was threatening dudes who were hitting on his ugly ass alien faced daughter. I don’t know why dudes are so afraid of the Hulkster. In his old age I’m sure he can be easily beaten. Also if he does beat you up, worst comes to worst you can sue him and take his shit. I grew up thinking the Hulk can do no wrong, but I have a feeling his daughter is gona be a crack whore by the end of 2007. it’ll probably make her music better though. They had him comentate about the pokemon battles happening on this huge screen on a stage and they also had like this werid doctor guy and another girl you can see in the pictures trying to rev the crowd up.



All Hulk really said was like I would give him a body slame a couple of times. It was werid casue why was hulk there you know. Does he like pokemon was he in town or something. Like I don't really understand it. Maybe he was in town or something. Also unforently they didn't have a guy in a pikachu suit walking around I really wanted to get a picture with him but he wasn't there.
There were huge lines for this booth were you could download a special pokemon to ur game for free and also special merch. It was werid that it's still that big but also really bizarre. I thought pokemon was over but I guess not.
It was really werid but totally worth it.

NEW BECK ALBUM LEAKED through videos

Beck's new album is called The Information and it's produced by Nigel Godrich. It will be out in October but if you want to hear some early stuff you can check it out here.
If you saw Nigel Godrich producing you're thinking is this sea change kinda shit. nope it's coo baby. Nausea has a good beat and you can dance to it so chill. The video is a kinda promotion thing for 1st and hope which is a skateboard documentary.
The song is really coo and if you like beck you should seriously listen to it. It's a good pop song and fun as well.

Also apprently beck is making a low budget for every track on the upcoming album and five have been leaked but I havn't found shit. One of the tracks has no name but the others do "This Girl," "1,000 BPM," "No Complaints" and "Movie Theme". If you find them let me know and I'll post them

New BLOC PARTY ALBUM DETAILS

SO I guess the new Bloc Party isn't coming out this fall like I had heard before kinda sucks but anyway it will be out early next year and will be produced by Jacknife Lee. Which also makes me wounder the fuck happened to danger mouse and stuff but maybe he worked on a track. I don't know this is confusing. The band will figure out what tracks will make the cut after they mix it but NME has a list of what tracks will be considered.

Don't like the new Nelly Furtado

I've heard alot of negative word of mouth and press about Nelly Futado changing her image from I'm like a bird hippie kinda stuff to Premiscous girl r n b. I guess I understand but here's why between the I'm like a bird album and the current album was her sophmore album. which nobody baught. yeah you don't remeber that album no neither do I. So that's why she needed something that worked for her. I'd say that unless you bought the second album stop your bitchin but if you did by all means cause seriously you stuck by her that's coo of you. you probably deserve the old one but let her have her timbaland song. same with the other people that are talking it's a good song I like it more then the I'm like a bird thing. It's not that suprising cause she worked with timbaland before on the tomb raider soundtrack back in 2001. In fact she should have done it sooner.

REVIEW: LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE best comedy i've seen this year

I'm not really into talking about the plot of the film cause I'd much rather the film do that for you and all you really need to know is the general plot. Which is that a little girl gets into the little miss sunshine pagent and her family goes on a road trip to get her there. Stuff happens on the way there believe you me. But really what makes it work is the cast.
The new comer is Abigail Breslin who plays olive in the film. She is pitch perfect she has just the right amount of innocence and ethusiasm. There's a scene were Steve Carrell tells the family about how he fell in love with his student who is a boy and her response is price less. She always has amazing timing and you also feel sad for her in any scene when she feels insacure.
The other cast memebers man basically everyone is cast perfectly has alot of chemistry. Toni collette plays the mom perfectly. She shins in the role which I guess would be her first mom role since the sixth sense. Greg Kinnear does a perfect self obessed dad. Steve Carrell probably does the darkest role he's ever done and more then makes up for the american office playing a gay school teacher. Alan Arkin plays a great father and Paul Dano is wounderful as there son who has given up speaking.
This is the best ensamble cast I've seen in a movie in a while. They feed off each other so well. Which really leads itself to the comedy. The scene i mention earlier where The dad tells olive that ice cream will make you fat and none of the beauty contest girls are fat. She decides not to eat the ice cream when it comes. Then the rest of the family starts eating it and telling her how good it is. They play it off almost like it's not acting but there just a family doing this in a dinner on the road.
This film was directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris who previous has directed the smashing pumpkins video for 1979 and tonight tonight as well as Korn's freak on a leash and the Red hot chilli peppers Otherside. I've been a fan of there's since 1979 and I think this film shows there strengths. In 1979 we just follow a bunch of kids driving around and it felt very natural and real. This film even though it is a comedy and has ridcoulous parts does feel very real and so beilaveable that you feel like you know the characters by the end you have a real connection with them. By the end your really rooting for them and hoping it works out despite how screwed up they all are.
I really can't think of anything better then this in theaters right now and hopefully that will work to this film advantage and it will make tons of money it really deserves it. It's an amazing film and funny as shit. I saw it on a weekday and it was packed afterwards everyone loved and was tlaking about it like crazy. That's the kinda movie this is and it won't dissappoint. If you wanna see a movie like that see this one.

The BEST MOVIE of the YEAR so far is now on DVD

I havn't seen a better movie then this so far this year. It's very influenced by film noir and know the genre. You can tell the director studied up and watched all the film noir he could. Plus doesn't dissappoint. This film knows what it is so bad it hurts. Joseph Gordon Levitt is really perfect to play this role.
Also the comedy is amazing. The scene with the prinicpal is hillarious. I'm not gonna talk about the plot anymore but I will say just rent it. It's worth it and better then everything in the theaters currently. So I'd say just rent it.
If you have seen this all ready this dvd has commentary and deleated scenes it should be worth picking up.


Point is if you havn't seen go to blockbuster or whereever you get your movies an rent it

He's only in negotions now but he is up for the role in the dick bio flick. Which is untitled. Seems like a rumor but his production company is involved so we'll see what happens. I think he would do a good job and I'm sure he'll be good he is a great actor

Half blood prince release date annouced

It was annouced it comes out November 21, 2008 not that far off from the next one that comes out next July. They have not annouced who's directing yet

We decided to stop doing the band." He says that he and drummer/vocalist Sebastien Grainger actually decided to split about a year ago, but they decided to tour for a slot opening for Nine Inch Nails and the Queens of the Stone Age — and then break up. "We started as a punk band with pop aspirations and we met every goal we set for ourselves," Keeler wrote. "A few weeks ago, the album finally went gold in Canada and that was the final mark I really wanted to reach."

Smiths guitarist has joined Modest Mouse

this kinda came out of no where. Modest Mouse relesed a statement saying that Johnny Marr has become an offical member of the band. There recording with him on there follow up to there last album. It was know that Johnny Marr was working with the band on this album but this is a shock and sounds like it could be pretty coo.

Hellboy 2 happening at universal

Hellboy 2 has been greenlite at universal. Unlike the original which was released by revolution studios. Which is now not in existance. It's been avaible for a while with all the star attached and the script and it will come out in 2008. Hellboy has been really lucky first it's a superhero that before the movie came out most people didn't know about making it harder to market then spiderman or x-men. Also this will be 4 years since the original which usually isn't good for a sequal but I liked the original and I hope it's good and it does really well. It wasn't great but it was a fun movie

Logans Run remake not happening

Bryan Singer was supposed to do this right after Superman Returns but I'm assuming it didn't work out or superman's gross killed it. Regardless it's not gonna happen. It wasn't gonna be amazing probably but it could have been good. Speed Racer recently took it's offices at Warners and Bryan Singer has 3 films in the works. Which includes a possiable sequal to Superman but it has not been greenlite yet.

Speed Racer live action film may happen

The Wachowski brothers or one brother and I think the other is a girl whatever who cares point is. There waiting for a greenlight from Warner Brothers.

Also Vince Vaughn has been with attached to the project for a while. And said he will continue to do so and will play Racer X. If they make this fun and silly and stuff this movie will be amazing. I think Vince Vaughn would play a good Racer X

New York Post says WORLD TRADE CENTER as good as a tv movie

i read a review and it wasn't positive. It said that it had lame cg and had terrible passing and was too hokey. Oliver Stone needs desperatly to have people care about him but it sounds like nobody is going to.

Pirates made alot blah blah

Miami Vice fell 62.4% ouch. I'm seeing it tonite and I've heard good things but in all fairness it's hard to have a R rated action movie when all the rage is tamer stuff. You'd think that would work for counter programming but it did the opposite.

The descent did less then excepted but most likely cause last summer around this time the cave came out and people arn't that dumb

also little miss sunshine went up 293.5%. I saw it on a Monday nite and it was packed . I think this movie will do really well.

Relax Pirates is just fun

This isn't directed towards anyone I actually know. Just so everyone isn't like hey what the fuck.

Anyway in the most recent rolling stone there critic was Peter Travers had a little blurb saying that critics are too stuffie and can't just have fun with Pirates. First off that movie wasn't fun and I love fun movies ok. Second you chaouse to write this with a movie that currently has grossed 370 million domestically. Great job. King Kong could have used this in January but nope you chaose a movie that will make millions on dvd and more on it's next sequal real genius. King Kong got shit on and could have used the good word of mouth but I guess when your last cover has Johnny Depp you have to say shit like that.

So this week Jim and I were talking about what I should write. Last week I had a cardiocath done and we decided I should write about my experience.

So lately I’ve been having what I thought was heart trouble. I was even in the e.r. cause I thought I was having a heart attack, Jim was there, he hung out with me but that’s another story.

I had a stress test done and it determined that I had a blocked artery although they were skeptical the test was right. Regardless they had me go get a cardiocath done. This is were they stick a tube into an artery in your groin and feed it into your heart, if they find a blockage they fix it. Thank the lord I did not have a blockage.

They were supposed to put me into a twilight state with drugs. They did not. Every time I asked for more Novocain I got non. Before it began they turned on there mix tape, the first two songs played were carry on my wayward son and free bird. WTF!!! That’s kind of ominous don’t ya think? The experience was painful as 8 bitches on a bitch boat but the recovery is equally as annoying. To close the artery they plug it up. Guidelines after having this done a.k.a. rules to live by for one to two weeks after:

No orgasms- having one may result in the plug coming out and you bleeding to death.

No lifting anything 10 lbs or heavier- this may result in the plug coming out and you bleeding to death.

No playing the drums (this is something that effects me as I play 3 hours a day)- may result in the plug coming out and you bleeding to death.

Do not get it wet- an infection might settle in and you can get sepsis and die.

Do drink a shit ton of water the next 2 days- if you don’t the dye they use will destroy your kidneys.

Of course they were so busy telling me all the way’s I can die during the procedure they neglected to tell me any of this till afterwards.

well not exactly but it is coming out June 29th the same day as Ratatouille. which sucks for them takes away cross over for Ratatouille. which sucks cause that looks way cooler then what die hard 4 is gonna be.

DUMBEST MOVIE IDEA EVER

Edgar Wright who directed Shaun of the Dead is directing ok are you ready for this. ok you all ready know cause of the picture but ANT MAN if this isn't a comedy then there retarted. I'm sure it is cause they have Edgar Wright but ANT MAN is marvel that desperate to make there movie characters in to franchises. Can we do other characters before fucking ANT MAN

Weta doing the special effects for next Cameron film

this is a big deal for the Peter Jackson run company Weta because James Cameron is well JAMES fucking CAMERON. They will do the special effects for his next film Avatar.
There the best out there right now. Suck on that ILM oooooo you sucked balls on those star wars films and now look Cameron thinks you suck too oooooooo you suck.

anyway this is coo I hope they worked on Camron's Aquaman as well.

REVIEW:PHARRELL-IN MY MIND is good in my mind

ok I will admit I'm not good at writing witty headlines for every single thing.
Anyway I was a bit wirry of this album espically when it was delayed and delayed. But I do like Pharrell and I like NERD. So I figured it was worth checking out.
All I had really heard before was Can I have it like that and the song with Kanye breafily.
Well it's alot better then those two song let one. Pharrell is defently into 80's rnb and hip hop production I would say more so R n B. Which isn't the best time for R n B to be honest in fact most people clam it was why hip hop happened and was so intense. I do agree but Pharrell doesn't care. He made an album that is basically all about that.
It's an odd album not odd enough for your average listener to get in to but to really like it you must at least like Flash fm in vice city.
You can hear it through out the whole album the big crazy synth chrous's and everything. The best song is something prince would have made in the early 80's it's called Young Girl. Pharrell screams like Prince so well Prince might ask for royalities or be jealous cause it's the best prince song I've heard in a while and better then Prince's last two albums.
Young girl also features a awesome rhyme by Jay-z who is getting alot better at the guest thing recently with this and the beyonce song. i didn't much like him on the kanye and big boi albums but his flow is great on this.
Young girl shares the track 9 slot. I'm serious with another great song I really like you which is also good. It's kinda of annoying that there both together but if you have audio editing software you can probably seperate them.
There other really awesome song and I think this is a good album. In fact I would as far to say that it's better then the last NERD album in fact better then any of the NERD albums. This album isn't perfect but it is good and worth listening to if you like Pharrell and 80's R n B you'll like it.
It does have flaws one being how many fucking times can you say yizzzir and skate boy peep. Well the later wasn't as bad but yizzir is annoying stop that and you can do it slows the whole album done. It's a good song but doesn't fit on the album.
This is great or amazing but it is good so check it out

REVIEW: PIRATES: DEAD MAN"S CHEST is mild at best

If your like the fuck you doing writting a review for a film that's in it's fourth week . Well I wanted to wait to see this with my friend Russ in Ocean City like I did with the first one. I wanted to see it at the carmichael theater but the other theater in Ocean City. Yeah there is only two got it Car Mike choose Superman The other theater choose this. Ouch well Car mike has 8 screens so I guess they probably win over all anyway.
When I bought my tickets for this I saw the length and remembered it's 2 and half fucking hours long. I felt like it was a bad idea. Then I remembered seeing the first one thinking that it would suck and hearing most of the industry saying a pirate movie remember Cutthroat Island. Then I came out exicited and happy I think it was as fun as Indiana Jones.
Then they made the sequal. To be honest it's not a bad movie but I wouldn't see it again. The acting is good the shoots directing and all that but 2 and a half fucking hours long. what the fuck.
The character development is pretty nonexistant. I know you say it's a sequal you don't need it. huh Funny thing is before I saw this film I watched Spier-man 2 which has that really great seen in the begining where Spider-man has to deliever pizza it's all character development and it totally works. You need that in a sequal even Harry Potter uses it and nothings bigger then that. YOu can't just assume they know. that's what this movie does.
Then for some reason they decided instead of making a fun action movie like the original they make it to fucking lord of the rings or star wars. Ok I guess that sounds like a good idea maybe but they don't pull it off. every scene is just we need to get this so we can do this and get key to get this but wait if we do this. If that wasn't fun to read this movie isn't going to be fun for you.
There is some good things the actors they use are coo I like seeing Jack Davenport back. Also Mackenize Cook and Bill Nighy in such a big movie. But I wish it was good. I really don't know why people love this thing. It's probably ok over all but it's not good and defently not great. I would say the first one was but not this.
You can feed me the empire shit. That empire was werider like this but Empire was good and this sucked.
Also the end were Caprtain Jack fights an octapus looked dumb as all hell.
I will not see the third one unless tbs picks it up cause this was to long and not intresting. I didn't care what happened at all. I did in the first one. Maybe you can live off the fumes of the first to like this film but I except a film to be able to stand on it's own and not be some sort of a compainion piece.

Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson project gets a name

Bonham Carter will play Bellatrix Lestrange. I don't know who that character is but i also have not read that book. However I hope he is good cause I really like the movies

also Nicholas Hooper will compose the music and he apprently has worked with the director before. But since nobody has really seen anything this director has done that really means very little to you

Jackie Chan and Jet-Li in the same movie

Aprently this is going to happen and the deal is almost done. They want to make sure it's a good script. I hoep Jet-li decides that cause Jackie Chan's movie's arn't as good as Jet-Li's most of the time. Regardless this will be something to look out for.
If all goes well then shooting will start in march or april and Jackie Chain said this about the project "It will be more American-style. It will be more suited to foreign audiences than Chinese audiences"
This may be good or bad but I guess we'll see. oh who cares it'll be awesome

Paul Dano in new Paul Thomas Anderson project

Paul Dano has signed on for Paul Thomas Anderson's new film THERE WILL BE BLOOD. Which ether a really coo title or another sequal to saw. Regardless I'm sure everyone's exicited for this because Paul Thomas Anderson hasn't done anything since Punch Drunk Love which was 4 years ago. He did recently assistant direct Pirarie Home Compainion but really this is his firs thing in a while

Paul Dano had the starring role in L.I.E. and was in the Girl next door as clits and is in probably the best comedy of the year Little Miss Sunshine and will have a voice in the upcoming where the wild things are. I really like him and I think this is a coo choice. He apprently is playing charismatic young preacher who captivates church-goers. It's a film about an Oil Tycoon and Daniel Day-Lewis is going to be in it too. I have no clue what the film will end up being about it sounds intresting as hell.
Plus the title is coo even though everyone is gonna thing of saw when they hear it

this is really odd but apprently Mel Gibson production company was going to make a mini series about Flory A. Van Beek a holocaust survivor. Weirder it was greenlit two years ago right after the pasion was really big. WAit huh
doesn't that sound odd. like they saw that and got a pitch from him and were like that's a good idea lets have him make a holocaust mini series. They are so lucky he embaressed himself this weekend and they stopped development cause there is no way this would go over well. I mean can you imagine from the people who brought you the passion of the christ comes a moving mini series about the holocaust.

gilmore girls creator has a new show

The spider-man trailer you may have never seen

When the first spider-man was coming out they made a teaser trailer that they used for a little bit but then was taken away after 9/11. Cause he catches a helicopter in his web. For a while this was lost. It didn't end up on the dvd for the first spider-man and was never aired on tv again or in theaters but guess who does have it. yeah that's right you tube.

REVIEW: CLERKS 2 SUCKS BALLS

I'm gonna be honest I used to really like Kevin Smith alot. Like I loved those movies. Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma. Those are among his best and the main reason I like him. If this was the first movie I had seen by Kevin Smith I probably would never have seen any of the other films.
This film is awful. You can watch the original Clerks and laugh at the un politcally correct humor and it's small budget charm. This film has none of that. It trys to do humor but fails on all fronts everything like pillow pants and the lord of the rings rant doesn't work.
The whole film feels like a script that was barely thought over and made to quickly.
The characters are shadows of there former selves. Randall is alot tamer and alot less funny. Dante as well is barely what he used to be. Jay and silent bob and both barely in the film and the whole jay has his nuts tucked back isn't funny it's just stupid.
Rosario Dawson also is miscast ands everything she says sounds forced and unintresting. It's obvious she was put in the film to have a star.
The worst part of the film isn't a joke or an actor it's a musical sequence. It starts off with Rosario Dawson dancing on the roof wiht Dante to Jackson 5's abc then has a huge group of dancers and jay and silent bob in pig tales. WHAT THE FUCK.
Why make the film this way and why does anyone like it it's unintresting and unfunny. I saw part of Jersey Girl and they were more intresting then this pile of shit.
Kevin Smith needs to make a good movie and it's been 7 years since Dogma. I actually think he could have made a good Green Hornet the daredevil issues he wrote were excellent but the spiderman black cat thing sucked.But really why did you turn that down to do this. I guess fincially this is doing very well and You can see that Kevin Smith has grown as a film maker and editor but defently devolved as a story teller.
I will admit I feel asleep during this movie only to wake up and it was regratably still going.
This is an awful movie do not see it. It sucks. It's defently on my worst films of the year list. In Fact it may be one of the worst films I have seen all year. FUCK YOU KEVIN SMITH for making such an awful movie.

ROB Corddry gets his own movie

Paramount Pictures has decided to make a The donor. which was developed by Jon Stewart and executive producer for the Daily Show Ben Karlin and Rob Corddry. this will be a star vechile for Corddry. and will be the first film project for Busboy Jon Stewarts company which does both The Daily show and The Colbert Report

This is coo and all but Rob Corddry will write the film with two of the best improvers I've seen like ever. well I don't know if there that good but they are my favorites.

Fincher has coo camera for new movie

the camera is called Contour it's a futuristic camera system that will add photorealistic three-dimensional effects to digital entertainment or that's what the new york times says.

David Fincer will use this on his new film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. starring Brad Pitt. Which is about a man who starts aging in reverse while dating a younger woman. It's based on a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Fincher says this about the camera "Instead of grabbing points on a face, you will be able to capture the entire skin. You're going to get all of the enormous detail and the quirks of human expression that you can't plan for"

Also two notable bits of Triva about this movie

It stars both Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett who were both supposed to be the stars in the fountain when it was originally in production before it fell apart.

This movie has been in development for over 80 years. Well i might be off but I think it's like 60 or 70. yeah talk about development hell. Jezzz also Spike Jonze was attached for a little bit in 2000

Homicide: Life on the Street: The Complete Series pre ording now

if any of you remeber this show it really was one the best shows I've seen on tv. they still show this on the sleuth channel every night at 7pm but for those of you who don't get that which I think is most people. This is a good deal it costs a total of 210. or 209.99 but it's 210 basically. anyway if you bought all the season box sets indiviually it's $496 ouch. so go to amazon and preorder it. It's worth and it's a great show

BATMAN THE MUSICAL

this is kinda odd.
Apprently a while ago Tim Burton and Jim Steinman (who wrote total eclipse of the heart and alot of meat loaf's stuff) were making a batman the musical. I'm really serious to. Forently it ended up not happening and Steinman wrote songs for most of which he rewrote and used for other stuff but there is one thing left.

The Fountain has been pushed to NOVEMBER

November 22nd to be exact. This is good cause it shows that warners wants it to be able to get OScar buzz and also gives it a release date that will anable it to get more money that being right before Thanksgiving.
