so yeah I havn't posted at all in like 9 days which i guess is bad. But I'm gonna try and post daily for here on out.
I'm in MD whihc has been fun and stuff. I saw Charlie Wilsons war with my parents last nite so that means one movie closer to my end list of films this year. Unforently in maryland they have like no movies i need to see. Most Awesome Games and cartoon all stars

Well this is my last day of work for the year. Cause I work for a school. So this is the last regular post of the year. All though I've been working on making a back log of material to keep this up. Might just post right before i go to bed or something.
Normally when I write these I watch the today show and eat cherrios with water. That's my morning pretty exicting huh.
I think this year has been a good year for tv, video games, and movies. I think music was ok but not as good as last year. My top lists of the year will finish soon. Top films of the year not coming out til 08.
also since I didn't play enough games or know enough about video games to really write a video game top 10 here are the most Awesome games of the year.

This game is super sweet. I agree with everyone who says 2 is better the songs arn't as coo. but Sonic Youth is in this and there my favorite band so that's coo. I used to play on easy until recently i moved up to medium and i'm doing pretty good. I don't own this game but if I get to I could get to hard easier.
I have to also say that the way they use the stereo in the 2 player thing is really good.


Man I kinda forgot about this game but it's fucking coo and fun. I always liked Metroid even when I was a kid. Even though I suck at video games and this is kinda hard. But I like it.


This is online so you can play it Here at adult swim.com. It's a simply game but alot of fun. You just have to kill yourself before a big meeting that you don't wanna go to. You get to kill yourself with staplers copy machines. well you only have 5 minutes. It's a great way to pass time. I think my best is I did it in 2:30


This is THE BEST FUCKING GAME OF THE YEAR BAR NONE. SERIOUSLY. The score is out of control in the best possiably way. The stereo mix is so far beyond what the film industry can do that it makes the film industry look like morons. Yeah it is that good and that well done. in DOLBY STEREO. The game never stops amazing me. Every level is awesome and with all the stars to gather it makes it worth it. It takes me back to the sega genesis Sonic games (sonic 1 and 2)and obviously the older mario's. It reminds me of when I was kid playing those games. awesome game seriously your doing a dis serve to your life as a human being but not even trying it out.

But I do. I found it on you tube the whole thing is one video. Not sure how they did that shit. but who cares. havn't rewatched it yet too exicted. But here's the thing when i was a kid I though the kid all the cartoon characters are trying to get off drugs. man i thought he was into some hard shit or something and then i found out all he does is pot. WHAT really like come it was the 80's what about coke or crack or like something that is proven to be addictive. maybe this is why this kinda stuff never actually works. anyway check it out.

golden compass and willow it's a fantasy movie post

When Star Wars came out to took everyone by suprise and many studios made basically rip-offs. like Saturn 7 or Black Hole. This is like those films because the studio that brought you lord of the rings. Decided that when you piss off the guy who made that franchise that made you alot of money you have to do something right.
Golden Compass is best summarised by a review i read and forgot who wrote it but it said the golden compass is like Harry Potter meets lord of the rings meets empire strikes back. I think there may have been a fourth movie but i forget it.
Anyway it was basically like a clueless studio film. One that this time period is lacking so in a way golden compass fills the void of films that a studio completely miscalculates.
Also the only reason to see this is for the polar bear or the cowboy in it. WHAT you say you didn't know this was a Cowboy and Polar Bear film. I know worth the rest of the crap a big polar bear (voiced by Ian McKellan funny huh) makes up for it with awesome bear fights. So for that this film is worth it but it doesn't work really.



So I hadn't seen this is a while but Luckly I own it on DVD. This film is intresting cause all though now we have a lot of films that are fantasy films. In 1987 there was very few or there were but nobody saw them. This film was mainly getting the promotion and stuff it wanted cause of George Lucas.
Frankly I do like this film it is not perfect. The little mini human small things are annoying and probably up there with jar jar.
But Val Klimer is awesome in this movie and so is Warwick Davis. Who was only 18 but I think he was playing like a 30 year old.
For me this is a good film I know you can knock me for it. I saw it in theaters when it came out and loved it then and i still do. Sure it is not as good as the orignal trilogy but it's better then the newer star wars's.

As a side story. One x-mas after Willow came out and I was like obcessed with it. I got tons of Willow action figures and I thought it was awesome. It turned out my dad got them all at a kmart or something that was selling them for incredibly cheap. I think I had like all of them cause of this. Anyway I thought that was coo.

A couple people noted that I said Katherine Heigl probably wasn't nominated for knocked up cause she has said she won't cross picket lines to attend. But she got a nomination for best supporting actress in tv. Ok i don't look at the tv part of the golden globes sorry my bad. but she still says she's not going.

oh and Persepolis was in there but not in anmated film category it was in the foreign film category for some reason that i don't know understand.

i guess these can like change but really if you make money in 08 then it should count for 08 you know. makes sense that way to me. So with not that much time left i feel it will end like this.



Anyway so really when it comes to 2007 there were alot of events or stuff that happened that was a big deal. This Summer was crazy. Scorese finally won an Oscar. Those may have been two of the biggest but I really think that biggest deal was 300's ad campaign.
With a huge myspace promotion campaign where everyone was able to have 300 photos because of the movie. Also weeks before it came out insuring that you would want to see it. The film had probably the biggest internet campaign of any film ever. Much like how Jaws introduced tv commercials as a huge way to promote films on tv. The internet hasn't had a huge film until 300.
All though alot of films do have big websites and stuff. I really think 300 had the smartest idea using a site everybody uses and being all over it. A lot of films just buy the main login page of myspace but 300 was on all the photo pages. Also the imagery was coo.
Other films has huge box office but really this film wouldn't have made 70 mil in one week in like march if they had done it the old way.
300 wasn't really a great film but it had a good ad campaign and probably the thing that when people look back on 2007 in film 300's advertising will defently come up.

Golden Globes nominations

Before I started I wanna say that this Blog will be less frequent from December 20th til January 14th. I will post between then and most likely everyday but it won't be early in the morning and stuff.

The good thing about having to be at my job a little before 8 am is that when award nominations are annouced I can watch them live. I guess that doesn't really make up for getting up so early. I guess that doesn't really make up for it. anyway I'll list the category then say what i thinks. I don't see any major suprises except that I really thought Knocked up would get something. Not that I liked it all that much but it seems like that at least give Katherine Heigl a nomination. But she said she wouldn't cross the WGA picket line to go so maybe they were just like why waste it on her. Also how come there is no Documetary category in this award show King of Kong would be there if there was.

also Quentin Tarantino read the names Aaron Sorkin was in there. That's funny isn't it

I guess it is very conventinal awards movie. I don't actually wanna see looks realy sappy. I guess Atonement does have a good chance with 7 but the other 4 are the only ones it's competing against.

I would do screenplay but I think the Coens will win so there you go. I think that the winners will be from a lot of different films and not just Attonement. i really doubt it will take hope that much stuff. but yeah my best movies of the year I'm gonna try and get that out. the sixth sense and other news

remeber when this movie came out everyone love m. night. Now they hate him but in 99 we hadn't sat through the village and signs yet so i get it.
I saw this recently on tv and it is actually a good movie. Will I buy it on DVD no but it was fun watching it this time. What suprised me is how tight this film is. Everything has something to do with something. There are no wasted moments in this film. also even though Hitchcock did it better he does a good job of bringing this to the mass's. It's easy to figure out what stuff means but without it feeling like he's talking down to them.
The last thing every summer people talk about how big the blockbusters will be. Well most of the time they suck. in fact i will take a sixth sense any day over recent crop or crap like da vinci code. even though this has nothing to do with the sixth sense. seriously the da vinci code people come on. anyway if your friend hasn't seen this it's worth seeing. or again.

Best TV of 2007

So i wasn't going to do a top ten for tv but i did. Not sure when the other top tens will come out movies will defently be last but until then you can read this one. I think the music one will be next.
But yeah Tv had a ok year I guess this is just what I thought but what do i know I don't watch any of the CSI shows.



10.) So this isn't the type of show you'd expect but it's a good show. This public television hip-hop video show has been around since the 80's and to most new york rappers it's a bigger personal deal to get on this then MTV. In fact I've heard a alot of rappers thought it was a natinal show. It's a big deal in nyc. I guess really it's odd to put this on here but it made my life a little better in the 07. so figured i'd share it. Normally on at about midnight on saturday way better for you then snl.



9.) I love this show for it's cartoonie style. How even when it is dramatic it's like melodrama and how as fucking crazy as this show can get it still is fun to watch. I don't know why this show has stayed decent. I mean the begining of the first season was the best it's been but it's still fun to watch.



8.) Nevermind the buzzcocks is a game show for england that could care less about points or really winning. Much like every art teacher ever told me. It's not the finished process it was the experience of doing it. That is Nevermind the Buzzcocks. Too funny for american tv. We follow Host Simon Amstell make fun of contributing celebrity guests right in front of them while asking them some quesiton about beyonce the best pop culture show you havn't seen.



7.) So really South Park doesn't need me to put it on here. It's had one of it's best years but it's put out some of it's better episodes. Guitar hero the imagination trilogy. I think this show knows it's audience and does a very good job appealing to them. also the show is still funny and keeps being both bizarre and silly at the same tiem.



6.) I'm sure most people go that's still on. Well it's still good too. All the characters are so well defiend it's crazy. i think I love all the characters. Really even though sometimes we do get a weak episode it balances out with how great everyone is on this show. But a good episode is still great. Does the same thing the wonder years did just not as sentamental.



5.) He started the joke that made the whole world take it way too far. Steven Colbert did a good Orson Wells by getting the country to really take seriously that he was running for president but only in south carolina. Also he was sponsered by Dorittoes. That has been the best thing tv has done. Got the whole country talking about the treat of something that would never happen.
But really Stephen Colbert is more then most talk show hosts. Conan is conan and Dave is Dave. But Stephen Colbert plays a character and has fun with it. Nobody's having as much as this guy on late nite tv. He even made John Stewart look less good in comparsion.



4.) This is an awesome show. You've got an awesome metal band that is also funny. A good show with coo music. With Bredan Smalls and the voice of Mark Hamil and Malcolm Mcdowell. This shows cast is one of the best in animation right now. Also I actually care about the continuing story.
The best part for me is how metal this show is. I really enjoy a million references too all the metal bands plus tons of gore which is pretty fucking sweet seeing all the gore they pack into a single episode.



3.) This show has been around for a long time but it's still just as good as it ever was. Well maybe not but it's good enough for me to write about here. Sure you get it that oh no Bobby might be gay thing. But I have rarely seen a King of the Hill miss and espically in the current season. Even off episodes are still on point with character. This show knows it's characters really really well. At this point in the simpsons run i wouldn't have called it as good as this show currently is.



2.) If your woundering when i ever talked about this show it was in March soon after it premeired I really like this show and the whole con of keeping a big rich couples house and stealing there life. Everybody does a good job and with Minnie Driver and Eddie Izzard as the parents how can you really go wrong. This shows how far you can get just talking your way out things some times. Really under rated and under watched.



1.) What a funny show this turned out to be. With supernatural storylines and a ton of great jokes and great acting this show is probably my favorite new show. The whole idea may sound a little weak but they pull it off. and by the end i knew how all the characters acted with all there querks. Not many shows pull that off in the first season. espically when it's only 15 minutes.
Any show with John H. Benjamen doing an awesome job will be a great show. Also the best part is not many shows can do whatever they want get away with it and make me want to see them do that every week and this is that show.

I heard that this year marks the 10 consecutive year that snoop has had a song chart in the top 100. good for you man.


Also even though I thought re runs of 90's leno was better then new leno. apprently his ratings are way down so i guess it's not such a great idea. but also 90's leno sucks so it might work better with a better show.

so i featured the first garth merenghi. I think I might do more of showing shows so I can get people to see them. Not all the time but you know once in a while.
But yeah the show Nevermind the buzzcocks is a coo game show for england. It's hard to explain i guess but it's funny and fun to watch and the host does a good job. it's all about music and stuff. just check it out. I made a playlist for you with it.

oh yeah I've been meaning to write about this for a bit. So because of the strike all late nite shows are in re runs. But most late night shows are playing newer re runs except Leno. Last week it was tonite shows firsts and now it's jay on the road. It's coo that NBC decided to show stuff that might peak people intrest in seeing instead of that show u saw 2 months ago you get stuff your like oh man i remember that crazy.
All though Leno was even worse back then and as suprising as it is to say he's gotten a lot better. So yeah he was that bad. But it's still a coo idea. I wish they would play 90's Conan like when Andy richter was still there. Or 90's Dave when he was huge and number one. If the strike goes for a while i hope they do i'm starting to miss late night tv.

Pimp C found dead in hotel

I would do a normal post but Pimp C died. Pimp C was half of the duo UGK that pretty much set up what would become southern hip-hop. Which now is huge but when they started in 92 was nonexistant. Recently they got to have a number one album because of all the hype that the other southern rappers gave to them. Basically with out UGK there might not be T.I., Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Outkast, and countless others. So give it up to him.

here are the two biggest songs they did one is the Jay-z song Big Pimpin which was a big deal cause no one outsite of the south really liked them. But Jay-Z did. So they were on this song. Also produced by Timbaland.

the darjeering limited

All though this isn't Wes Anderson back to what he was in the 90's it's a defenate step up from his last film the life aquatic. I really don't like that film to pretencious for me. This film goes down that road a couple of times but for the most part this is a good film. well i mean it's good like if it was almost just ok.
The music is good as it always is in a wes anderson film. kinda wish he would work with a composer once or something.
The story through idea is fun and everyone seems to be able to bounce off each other. I'm wondering why they didn't cast Luke wilson instead of Owen cause I feel Luke looks more like he could be related to Adrian Brody and Jason Schwartzman.
Another complant I had was that alot of the camera moves made me aware of the camera in lame way and the shots he choose often didn't add anything other then being neat.
But Idea hasn't looked like this in an amercian in film in a while. And yeah it's fun.
Also the final thing about the short before it with Natalie Portman. I know there has been alot of talk about cause she's naked. Well that would be coo but Natalie Portman naked is FUCKING GROSS EWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I can see her ribs really well. like way too well. eat something seriously. and her short hair looks bad. People told me that it was so coo and stuff but it wasn't worth and i saw no tits. But really the short was awful made little sense and the only pay off with the film is that there mom is similair EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW W. i read a review somewhere and all though i forget where i read it i'll quote it from memory "the two stars look like there two young to be playing the character there portartying. almost like there playing dress up" yeah so it didn't work. at one point you see her butt which is coo but i dislike natalie portman. Also if she's so smart why is she in so many shittie movies.

yeah so we have a new ep that came out last night called "The Junior Novelization" I think it's a good ep. You can get it at our website nockforce.com and on the myspace
It has guests and all that crazy stuff.
Also we made a commercial with Dan Dussalt (hope i spelled ur last name right) who did all the voices except for the elf which was me. I think he's a crazy good voice actor and he even did cletus stuff. like he was one of the good charlotte guys.

the strike continues going into week five. slightly getting the whole online thing. All though online still isn't as profitable for a single writer as say a rerun or a dvd or a show currently airing. Recently Comedy Central annouced there launching a site for south park like the one they put up for the daily show in the article it said Viacom and mtv networks (who own comedy central) plan to eventually have all there shows have sites like this. were all the episodes are online. Makes alot of sense so people don't just put that on you tube or daily motion. but these sites don't embed like those for mention sites. which is not good cause then blogs and myspace profiles people will just go to you tube and daily motion to embed them anyway. but i'm sure they'll fix that later.

anyway this proves online is a big deal and i'm dumb but just like i know apple looks really coo. but itunes doesn't have the number these sites will be a big deal. i know people who have spend hours on the daily show site and you can imagine if all shows have this in the future.


also since i guess you realise i'm not really fond of facebook. people are always telling me how it's gonna take out myspace. well hold your hourses cause i just saw on the today show that all though it is getter bigger. it's only in students not other people so they don't expect myspace to go down cause most non students either don't use it or if they do have one use it rarely.
