I think that obama infomercial last nite ripped off the twilight zone structure. like obama was the host or something. and then all those stories played. I hope that town controled by that little kid benafits from tax breaks and universal health care.

Synecdoche, New York

To Describe this film is hard cause it's just really crazy. It reminds me of bunel at some parts but then it gets so weird I'm not sure where it all comes from.
What you do need to know. Philip Seymour Hoffman is a great actor and watching me costar with another great actor Samantha Morton is enought for you to want to see this movie.
Really I don't know what to say about this movie that will really do it justice cause even the trailer doesn't really and i don't know if it could. this ups the weirdness level is bigger then eternal sunshine. which by the way this is his first film since that one.
It lives up to all the other Charlie Kauffman written films and he even got Jon Brion to do the music too. In fact he does a great job. so I'm hoping for more great films from him after this one.
This is probably the best made film of the year so far.
I think it opens in the rest of the country in november

This one was made when the 5th harry potter book came out. We'll see this cartoon again when the movie comes out eventually.

I'm gonna see this today. It's the first script from screenwriter Charlie Kaufman since Eternal Sunshine. Also it's his directoral debut. I'm really curious how it is but i think it will be good.

So after all this time. 14 years since there last album. 6 years after that suprise mtv apperance. The first single finally came out and it fucking sucks. but did any of us really think it would be good. In fact havn't we moved past if it will be somewhat good we know it will suck. He waited to long. but it sounded like he spent time on it. just maybe too much on something that wasn't worth it.

well hopefully we'll get an over the top music video. hopefully

To say this movie is current is kinda bullshit. The film doesn't go that far infact i think it ends at about 2004. Only kind of hinting at his eventual fall.
Also there was no scene about what happened during 9/11. We hear it talked about but we never see that day in this film.
Really what this is is an incomplete bio pic. There is no real ending to this story in the film and maybe there hasn't been for bush, Just not yet. But had it had an ending it would have been alot better.
Josh Brolin and Richard dreyfuss both give amazing performances and I hope Josh Brolin will get an oscar nomination. However that seems to be all for this film.
At some point it was a tv movie and then it was a film.
Also if you don't know the story then this film will work for you. if you don't then this film doesn't work as it more of a companion piece then a film. so maybe if your gonna see it see it now. so you don't forget all that stuff and you can still follow it. really this is lazy film making and they should have explained things better.
I will say this though. it does have a bit longer shelf life then Fahrenheit 9/11.

Friday Night Lights

Ever since this show started I heard really good things. But I never got around to checking it out. Cause it was on Friday nights and that was working for me. but now because of the magic of hulu. I have watched the first 3 episodes of the 1st season and it's a really great show.
The way they film it is not at all like a tv show. I feel like i'm watching a small film or something. It's just really well put together and frankly i don't know dick about football but i found the show really intresting. It was really hard not to watch every single episode or something.
Really fine work.
I seriously recomend this show and the entire first 2 seasons are on hulu. so you can check them out there for free. seriously just do it.

Also for those who arn't gonna watch this cause it's football. watch the show first. your not in high school and treating all jocks like there dumb gets a little old when your not 14.

Will Star Trek actually be good?

I mean seriously. everyone is excited but will it be a good movie. frankly this image makes me wonder more about the guy playing kirk. but i havn't seen him act so i don't know. J.J. Abrams is really hit or miss. I don't know if anyone has seen the later season of insert show he has produced before but jesus. like seriously. sure mission impossiable 3 was coo but compared to the crap fest the previous 2 were.
I really don't know about this. I kinda don't want them to do this.

but maybe it could be good.

well we'll have to wait and see but seriously most likely this will suck pretty bad.

the last detail

To be honest I'm kinda not sure what to make of this film. the first two acts i wasn't that into but then the third act was really really good. It really picked up. Part of me wants to watch this again. but another part of me wants to return this so i can start getting the third season of the wire from netflix.
I like alot of parts of this really i'm not sure about this movie but i think most people would like it. It's a good road movie and it does a great job of it. nicholson is at the begining of his career and a really good actor. Man i don't know i need to see this again and re review it or something

hyped for more james bond

So i'm really excited for the new James Bond movie coming out november 15th. I don't wanna blow this up to big but i really have very little coming up in theaters that i really wanna see. revolutinary road sure but thats not til the day after x-mas. I want a good fun movie. Granted most likely this will not be as good as Casino Royale. But if it's like close i'll be happy.
In most areas it'll be playing at the best theater in that area. which is real nice cause we can all see it in a nice theater.
also the theme song doesn't suck as much as the last one.

and come on after that sweet opening in casino royale where he threw the guy at the sink and the sink fell off. that was fucking awesome. seriously can't wait.

Mickey Mouse used to be cool

Along time ago Mickey Mouse wasn't lame. like he smoked drank beer. mostly likely did some nasty shit with minny. so where along the line and much like the baby boomers Mickey sold out. he's now a total kill joy which blows. So I figured we'd go back to one of his first shorts and see how he started. Mickey had his crazy radical younger years too.

I got to see this movie for the first time and I liked probably more then I thought I would. I liked the kind of odd way it's cut together. Also it really reminds me of going to collage in the earlier part of the decade. All though the poster doesn't really do the film justice at all it's alot smarter then a film with all those people in usually is.
they do an awesome thing with two shots in the fram at the same time and have alot of nice visual gags and just fun stuff. in fact i kinda wanna see it again to see if i can find more stuff that i missed cause there's alot of stuff going on in the background of scenes and stuff. Really it's well made and in way a much better version of the film GO which kinda choked on it's on self importance. i don't point is see it. it's pretty coo.

Since right now we're dying of the fat of debt was amassed over the years It's funny for me to look back. Even in 2002 I remember when people would say that when they got out in to the real world they would just take out a 20,000 loan and get themselves started or a 30,000 loan or even a 40,000 loan. Because everyone is in debt anyway.
I like when people blame polticans for this cause it's really a ton of peoples fault. Like sure it is also the polticans fault but all the people that took out loans for houses and cars and spending money they didn't need. Like what the fuck.
At the time I said what the fuck but now it's like yeah no shit that was stupid. I really never understood going under like that to have money. really if you didn't earn you shouldn't be spending it. not in all cases of course i'm talking about non essiential loans.

Thats coo I guess but it takes you guys forever to do it. Really do what I do shoot a whole dam music video and not tell your fan base so that when it goes up it's a suprise. Kirk Cameron some how makes a come back and new cletus

I remember like 9 years ago me and my friends would make fun of how lame Kirk Cameron was. Cause there was no way he would ever come back. He just seemed so dated. Also he's weird about relgion. He also got all weird when growing pains got to the end.
Anyway hsi film FireProof opened at number 4 at the box office this past weekend. It made 6.8 mil and it's per screen average almost bet the movie that got number one Eagle Eye.
It wasn't playing in that many theaters but they used the christain movie goer thing and it worked out. I don't really wanna see this movie but It's kinda odd that he came back. werid.
