diamonds are forever

In my continuing quest to see every James Bond movie ever made last nite I watched diamonds are forever. All thought this isn't the best connery bond it's probably the most fun and has coo action sequences. I can see however if you like Dr. No and from russia with love how this one looks a bit goofy. And yeah your right but it does a better job then most Rodeger Moore I've seen. I would actually put this in my top Bond movies. I even liked it more Then Thunderbolt.

I was also suprised how influencial this film is. The final battle I swear i could see star wars and return of the jedi stuff in there. so who knew. But James Bond was the first kind blockbuster film event. That would later influence George Lucas and Speilberg.

Anyway this movie is alot of fun. if you wanna see a good stupid fun movie get this.

Also the theme song is coo but i think i like the kanye version better.

kung fu panda

SO i saw Kung fu Panda recently. And it is the best Dreamworks animated film ever. But it's competition was the first shrek and the first madagascar so it's not like thats a huge accomplishment or anything.
This also there prettiest looking film in terms of color and character design. and even voice acting. probably the least annoying Jack Black performance of all time.
As a good cartoon family film this film works and works well. it does pretty much how a movie about panda who knows kung fu would go. and if you wanna see a family film about a panda who knows kung fu i would see this film. in fact this might be the best animal kung fu movie. but thats just cause there is no hong kong fuie movie. so they win by default.






as a sidenote alot people wanna say this is a better film the wall e.
no having seen both. i have to say that well THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU this is like the biggest no brainer ever wall e is not a little better. it is like in another league. all the ideas and shots and acting in walle is so much superior to kung fu panda it's almost laughable to compare them.
We've had great film year and animation is having a good year as well. however this reminds me of 1999. when the iron giant, princess monokee, south park, and tarzan came out in the same year. several critics put tarzan over those films. that was really a shame cause despite a few coo shots tarzan is not ever half of what those 3 other films achieved. some times i really feel people would rather be alternative then have the smarts to realize that in 20 years you will look like an asshole and stupid. so have fun with.

listen i'm sorry but that just is dumb see wall e first you can get around to kung fu panda.

has anyone seen the latest saturday morning incarnation of spiderman. Well it's actually not that bad. in fact it might be the best spiderman cartoon ever. all though thats not saying much. but i think they did a good job. check it out it's on the cw.
I think they did a good job of updating and making the character designs that are able to let there be awesome action sequences. I feel like this one is more made to be a good animated series rather then some crap they put together for money

So apprently there are these two guys from the same home town i'm from who make these you tube videos about seeing movies and having lots of dvds. Now I really write a long rant about how if baltimore covered there local arts better i would have heard of this but. well you all ready know that.
anyway i like it that they call Towson. Wowson how has no one done this before. like it's so easy. these guys are mad smart for this one.

So newpapers are done. or so they say but does anyone under 30 care. hey calm down journalism majors. no seriously newspapers like why the fuck would i buy a newspaper. most of them kinda suck. in fact the only paper i really liked was the new york times and that is mostly cause of the really nice movie ads.
they also smell bad and cost money. the internet costs money but it alot nicer and can cater to my target demo really well.
In addition they often only cover there main demo's kinda stories now. almost entirely ignoring others making it kinda like why bother for anyone else.
I don't know like i grew up with the baltimore sun and if that went away. I really wouldn't miss. first off all cause there's allready Usa Today so why buy it's crapp nock off press release instead of real articles art section ass. oo suck my balls.
but really most papers suck and are complete media dinosaurs.
I often wonder when i watch tv how long that will last. all though it's sad we have to move on as a society at a certain point and leave newspapers behind. We have to get the the glory days of people really giving a crap about newspapers is over. cause of the internet. and thats it enough i really enjoy my cup of coffee and newspaper stuff. just end it come on. we know it's over. this like watch someone really really really slowly die. eventually we're all gonna start yelling and be like. oh come just die all ready jeeezzz

didn't watch tv but i did watch thunderball. which after watching i realised i had all ready seen. under water fight not as good as the zomibe shark fight in zombie but still coo.

wish if u kicked him in the balls you would get a electricuted. cause it's thunderball get it. well if should be called thunderballs. he's so tough his balls are made of thunder. or something like that.

Bad Ronald

This has to be one of the best tv-movies of all time. or at least a fun one to watch. The plot is good enough alone to be it's own film. Ronald kills a girl so his mom and him make a secret room in the house were Ronald stays until it all dies down. Then his mom goes in for surgery she says she'll be back a week but dies. So then her family sells the house but ronald is still inside. They sell the house to a new family. Which Ronald watches and stuff. yeah creepie. he also makes this weird fantasy land thing too. it just fun doesn't stop.
I've read people calling the main character in some of the movie a living ghost when he's lving in the house with this other family. that's pretty true. also an awesome band name. now i'm wondering what type of band the living ghost would be. maybe metal. or like a joy divison rip off band. (insert interpol joke here) or mayeb like an electronic kinda band. actually yeah they would be kinda electronic and sing about past relantionships of something. man that band well ok that band is lame but still.
Anyway it's a good fun tv-movie horror film. It's both a b-movie and an intresting movie all at the same time. really just that this film exists is pretty remarkable. just cause it really can't make up it's mind how bad it is. A nosey neighbor character is serously b-movie but then the other actors can carry it alot better. I'm not sure what they thought they were doing with this but the result is great. I have no clue how easy it is to get this. but if you can it's worth it.

Golden Globes nominess

every year people take less and less stock in these nominations. However they actually do year after year predict what will probably be nominated. they arn't as good at the winners thing but whateva.
some bullshit wall-e not getting a regular nomination that was really dumb. burn after reading is lucky it got on there considering that is yet another under welming cohen brothers comedy that is super liberal and sarcastic. can't wait for the next one.

so at the end of every year. all the best of the year stuff comes out. trying to summarise the past year. really most of the lists people don't like and they don't really mean anything. When this year has past we might look at our selections and re do the list. in 1980 alot of people liked ordinary people over raging bull. yeah people thought that.wait a minute now. that just hit me again. what the fuck is wrong with you people in 1980. seriously like ordinary people really. did you guys see raging bull cause i've seen both and that is such a no brainer. ooo man thats bullshit. still bugs me. ordinary people is a waspy piece of shit. Raging bull is art. nuff said.

See what I mean. So I know right now it might seem like it's a great idea and really thats what the lists are there for just look back at some old ones and you might go whaaaaa.

mad tv will i really miss you

well lets be honest mad tv for the most part sucked. and it getting cancelled is a little sad cause it is the longest running show to go up against SNL. I mean Fridays only lasted 2 years but mad tv got 14 seasons. thats pretty good. yeah the show sucked all right i admit that but it had it's moments and i figured i would post a few you tube sketchs to remeber the good times.

so since the new punisher movie comes out today. I figured I'd give some promotion to the cletus punisher episode. frankly this episode kinda could have ended before melvins stupid rant but whateva.
I made a playlist for it with comic book and movie pardy episodes. well it has other stuff too but mostly those.



also even though i never really liked the punisher i think the movie looks alot better then the last one. and I might even see it. but probably not in theaters and most likely on bootleg with another movie. or maybe like if it was online. yeah well. i do watch alot of movies so there is a good chance i will see it.

Slumdog millionaire and this other thing

Often times on this blog i write these little review things and i say this person will like it. frankly i think almost anyone will like this movie. If this movie does become a dark horse oscar thing that would be coo. It works very very well.
And shit does this thing move. Like really not even sure what the run time is but it felt like 60 minutes or something. It grabs your attention.
It's also the kinda movie I'm sure some kid will have to watch in high school english class because some well meaning english teahcer will play it cause it's easy to get into. and cause he can be like look i'm liberal there's foreigners in this movie. that isn't a diss cause you had to read great gatsby in high school and that was good.
This is the kinda movie that your mom will like and your grandma will like and you will like. and thats coo. we need stuff like this. it helps the theaters and it's just good in general to have it around. anyway i recomend this movie. it's real good it will probably make my top ten but this month has so much stuff who the hell knows.

atonement and new cletus

so i saw this movie. took me a while.
If it was 1997 this movie would be awesome. Partly cause most films made about a story that took place long ago. Was like the English Patient way too long and boring. But the makers of atonement were like what if we made that movie with over an hour to spare. Thats basically atonement.
It does it's best to bring good film making to a film that would normally have been bland. Having a really impressive tracking shot. Also using neat editing with nice visuals.
It's almost like they knew the limitations for this kind of film and said well fuck this. I think this film works really well. However it's almost too late for this film. Had it come out 10 years ago it would have won best picture. it would have also made a bigger impression with the editing and story telling. However its not and this film doesn't get to do that.
But it is a good movie. not a great movie or anything. But I think if you see it you will admit this was good. maybe good like that was good maybe i'll see it again when tbs plays it in like 2 years. but i'm not gonna go outta my way or anything.



This is defently a good one. I think it has Jackie's best voice acting of the whole series. It was alot of fun to do. Yeah anyway this one is pretty solid just check it out.

turtle eat fish

Man what a crazy weekend. well not really but it was relaxing. anyway some people really like the turtle day turkey day 2 video. other people find it horriable. i've been lucky talking mostly to people who like the video. telling me it's sweet.
There are other people who find it disgusting. Thats coo I kinda assumed that would happen. But it's fun having something that has such great reactions.
honestly though the whole video seems to be forgotten by most people. i only hear about the close up fish kill shot from both people who love and hate the video.
kinda funny. when i first saw that footage I knew that was the video. but didn't think it would be like this.
