Syd Barrett dies at 60

Did anyone else know he was still alive. Like oh my god. I find this more shocking that he's alive.

anyway he's the one he started pink floyd and was the frontman on albums like saucer full of secrets and piper at the gates of dawn. Unforently he took way to much acid. I heard everyday for a year. yeah i know holy fuck. this made him really werid. They ether kicked him out of the band or he left. Like he would just stare into space on stage and not play.

He did put out two solo albums in the 70's produced by pink floyd member David Gilmour. But nobody bought them. He apprently showed up to the recording sessions for wish you were here fat and bald to help with the album. The band didn't reconginize him and he didn't play on the album.

Towards the end of his life apprently he would go in to a fit if he heard the name pink floyd same a picture of them or heard any of there songs. Cause he knew he fucked up royally. Wow sucks to be him

He apprently lived a hermit kinda lifstyle and died peacfully.

All the early pink floyd is good but really really werid. I own piper at the gats of dawn. It's really influentical. But he had nothing to do with the band Dark side of the moon and beyond.
