Review: Degrassi School's Out

If you havn't seen this. It's not a suprise. It was barely availble on vhs and never came out on DVD. You'd think because of this they would never refference this on the next generation. Unforently they do alot of times so it's really confusing if you've seen all of high and junior high when they talk about stuff you never saw.

The movie takes place after the older group of kida graduate. so the other group is still in high school next year except of course Catlin who took extra class's and is graduating a year early. Which means she gets to graduate before Joey.
We start out at this party Joey and Catlin arrive. Then Joey deideds to prepose to Catlin in a room of the house no one is in. Catlin of course says no. Joey upset leaves but gives Tessa Campaneli a ride home. They start going out as well.

Ok I don't wanna write the whole plot cause that's lame. but here's a really short version in bullet points about what happens.

-Tessa and Joey go out, even though Joey is still going out with Catlin

-Snake try's to looose his virginaty but fails

-wheels drinks alot while at work

-Snake and catlin friendship somewhat explained for next generation

-Joey and Tessa have sex, tessa gets pregnet has abortion

-Catlin decides she does what joey to marry her but then finds out about Tessa.

-wheels gets in car crash killing a kid.


ok yeah that's it. It's not like high or junior high it's like it's own think i guess. It still is fun to watch with your friends and drink but the ending is a real downer. Like seriously. Also the minor characters are barely in it. It's basically about Joey and Catlin and Tessa. This more fun to watch just to figure out all the refferences are about this movie.

they do say fuck twice and shit which I'm assuming was ether bleeped or ok in canada.
Also the music is really ridcilous and the budget is way bigger then a regular degrassi old school episode.

If you love degrassi check it out. this also explains why Joey and Catlin are so werid around each other in Next generation. But what the hell is with Catlin taking him back.poor girl what was she thinking
