do we really need a best of

so two best of compliations came out recently and both suck balls.

First the Beatles LOVE, since the living member of the beatles realised that people over the age of forty will simply buy anything with there name on it. they thought that hey wouldn't it be coo to have George Martin and his completely untalented Coldplay producing son ( seriously name me a Coldplay song that has it's levels different from one another you can't cause he set the levels for the first album and hasn't moved them since, he came in and said nobody touch these ok recored the album) remix a bunch of beatles songs for some circ de soule show that most of us will never ever see. so the point of having a soundtrack to this show is kind of dumb anyway.
But that of course didn't stop them. So they took basically the best songs ever recorded and messed with the mix which yeah great idea. they weren't like good the way they are at all. I've heard them say they didn't wanna just remix them for some special sound system but really i think it would have sounded fine if they had. none of the tracks are even intresting and are completly boring past a second listen.
I think both Jay-z and the beatles have tryed to make there own grey albums and both have failed pretty miserably. mostly cause they didn't do it Danger Mouse did. So basically it sucks

Then the U2 best of is for anyone who doesn't really like U2 but really thinks therre new stuff is amazing. yeah well that's nice i guess. One thing this best of does show you on it's two exclusive songs both produced by Rick Rubin. that the band is so far gone into being some crap band that wins awards that nobody will remember in 10 years that they forgot how to be good. Even Rick Rubin who by the way made a good Neil Diamond album a year ago couldn't make there new songs intresting. The best of jumps around alot also and you go from acthung baby to new bland stuff back to joshua tree. U2 would be a perfect band for a career retorspective disc like The Beatles 1. Because there sound evolves and changes with each album. This would have been nice to hear but I guess that's not intresting for them to do or they just want to put out there 4th best of singles album in 2010, which will be a good one then five years later they'll remix everything for some show in vegas that i'll never see
